Something to practice...I will try...

As we grow up, we learn that even the one person that wasn't supposed to ever let us down, probably will. You'll have your heart broken and you'll break others' hearts. You'll fight with your best friend or maybe even fall in love with them, and you'll cry because time is flying by. So take too many pictures, laugh too much, forgive freely, and love like you've never been hurt. Life comes with noguarantees, no time outs, no second chances. you just have to live life to the fullest, tell someone what they mean to you and tell someone off, speak out, dance in the pouring rain, hold someone's hand, comfort a friend, fall asleep watching the sun come up, stay up late, be a flirt, and smile until your face hurts. Don't be afraid to take chances or fall in love and most of all, live in the moment because every second you spend angry or upset is a second of happiness you can never get back.

The Journey....

The Journey

One day you finally knew
what you had to do, and began,
though the voices around you
kept shouting
their bad advice–
though the whole house
began to tremble
and you felt the old tug
at your ankles
“Mend my life!”
each voice cried
But you didn’t stop.

You knew what you had to do,
though the wind pried
with its stiff fingers
at the very foundations,
though their melancholy
was terrible.

It was already late
enough, and a wild night,
and the road of fallen
branches and stones.
But little by little,
as you left their voices behind,
the stars began to burn
though the sheets of clouds
and there was a new voice
which you slowly recognized as your own,
that kept company
as you strode deeper and deeper
into the world,
determined to do
the only thing you could do–
determined to save
the only life you could save.

Faith in Almighty!

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY

One may have immense faith in God. But from time to time, the power of Maya (illusion)

may undermine one’s faith. Even in testing times, faith in God should never waver.

Under no circumstances should anyone go against the injunctions of the Divine.

Whatever worship one may offer, however intensely one may meditate,

if one transgresses the commands of the Lord, these devotional practices become futile.

The reason is that the Divine has no selfish objective or aim.

It is out of small-minded selfish motives that people act against the sacred commands of the Lord.

Even small acts of transgression may in due course assume dangerous proportions.

My Birthstone - Pearl

The pearl has always been the gem of modesty and purity and has been believed to have a power for the good: to bring succor in troubled times, to cement friendships and to strengthen weak hearts and memory. The pearl supposedly gives its wearers the courage to resist and overcome evil, eases irritability, wards off pestilence, increases the fruitfulness of oxen and cures blood disorders!
